We don’t just age our guitars—we give them a Time Travel Treatment with a backstory. From tidy to battered, every scratch and ding on our guitars is earned. And we make sure the hardware ages right alongside the body, because nothing kills the mood like a mismatched relic.

Chapter 1:

Cosette Breaks the Rules

In the early 1960s, Cosette Gemutlich walked away from the life her wealthy family had planned for her. Instead of following tradition, she immersed herself in the underground music scene and set out to build a guitar on her own terms.

Inspired by the raw energy of rock ’n’ roll, she created four radical prototypes with an offset body shape and bold design ideas. The guitars quickly found their way into the hands of rebellious musicians, and over time they became surrounded by stories of smashed instruments, wild performances, and disappearances.

Chapter 2:

“The Real Story Of The Original Cozy”

Sometimes a story is just too good to be true. And although we wish that the history of the Cozy and Cosette were real; they are not. We have made it all up. Why? Because we wanted to put the cultural roots of the guitar firmly in the 1960’s. We believe that a great guitar should have a great story. We think that the story about Cosette and her guitar is entertaining and in our minds it certainly could have happened.

Chapter 3:

“Made In Europe”

The real Cozy was developed in 2021. We wanted to design an original guitar that was lightweight, comfortable, and versatile.

The name Cozy came from a customer named Alex, who described the guitar as feeling “very comfortable, almost like a blanket around you.” The team immediately knew they had found the perfect name.

Today, the Cozy stands as a modern European guitar built with European craftsmanship and materials. While the legend of Cosette is fictional, it serves as a tribute to the creativity, history, and future of guitar building in Europe.
